📋 Baked Potato Microwave And Oven
If you need to make some roasted or fried potatoes for a side and you need to make it quickly, microwave and oven-baked potatoes are your solutions. They are done in 30 minutes, crunchy outside and soft inside and they go with everything.

Oven Cut them in quarters lengthwise
Lay them on a baking pan over a parchment paper, skin facing down
Drizzle with olive oil
2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Season with salt and pepper
1 teaspoon salt, 1 pinch black pepper
Bake in a hot oven at 400 F - 200 C for 20 minutes, until crisp
Use new potatoes with young skin so you don't have to peel them
If the potatoes are large you may need to microwave them for a few more minutes.
Cover with a paper towel that will absorb the steam, a hardcover will condense the water and drop it over the potatoesÂ
To check if they are done, perforate with the pointed knife, it should go through without any problem
If you cook them for too long they will crumble when you cut them
If you use more than 6 potatoes you need to microwave them for longer, else just do 6 at the time
Don't forget to pierce them otherwise they will explode in the microwave
You can bake them for longer or less time depending on how crispy you want them
