I cook the brown rice in the pressure pan as it
This salad, not only is fresh for the summer but full of healthy veg and fibers.

Brown rice with apples and carrots
- 2 cup Venere Rice
- 3 Apples
- 4 Carrots
- 1 Lemon
- 1 tbsp Coarse salt
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- Boil the brown rice in salted water for 20 minutes. If you are using a pressure pan it should take approximately 10 minutes.
- Strain the rice and let it cool
- In the meantime peel the carrots and the apples and shred them with a shredder
- Mix the rice with the apples and the carrots and season with the virgin olive oil, salt and lemon juice.
