    Greek salad

What is an easy Greek salad

This Greek salad is made with fresh summer vegetable and Greek feta cheese, this is why it is called Greek. Usually made with cucumber, tomatoes, red onions and Greek olives but feel free to add any other fresh vegetables if you would like. It is its freshness that makes it perfect for the summer.

The seasoning I like to use it is simply extra virgin olive oil and salt. You don't really need anything else. The light spiciness from the red onion gives the necessary bite to contract the creamy feta cheese and the sweetness of the tomatoes. The cucumber adds extra freshness and the olives stand out from the rest.

    Greek salad ingredients

    • 1 Cucumber
    • 2 Large tomato
    • 7 oz - 200 gr Feta Cheese
    • ⅓ cup Greek olives
    • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

    How to make it

    1. Cut the cucumber in cubes
    2. Cut the tomatoes about the same size
    3. Crumble the feta cheese
    4. Top with red onions rings
    5. Add the black olives,
    6. season with salt, pepper and virgin olive oil and mix

    How to serve Greek salad

I serve this salad for a quick lunch or as a side for a summer barbecue. Its freshness is a perfect combination to barbecued meat.
